In January, the new storage facility for Tiller Corp. was completed. This building will be used to store silica sand to be used in the fracking process. The building is a 100 x 96 Pro-Tec gable building mounted on concrete piers with free standing concrete panels inside to contain the sand. Using a storage facility such as this will allow Tiller Corp. to keep their fracking sand dry and ready to be hauled in all kinds of weather. Dry sand is easier to load and weighs less to haul, so saves money on labor and fuel costs.
